Approaching Storm print

“Approaching Storm” is originally a work of oils on paper and that plays an important part in the water, shown here to a bright white light on it. That was achieved by under painting that area with a warm gray. When that was dry I used a sander/grinder to sand some of the paint off getting back to the white of the paper but leaving some texture that resembles ripples on the surface. The print also does a fine job of holding onto that “glow” of alizarin crimson along the shore line to the right. This print measures 24″ w by 14″ h.
