My recent fascination with cows has partly to do with their deep connection to our agricultural history (and the fact that they are scattered on farms all around me) and the various abstract markings that holsteins bear on their hides. In this image I have taken that idea to its limit on the left half of the picture – pure abstraction – and it has amap like quality.
