Description of Down hill

One of my favorite ideas to explore is to use given compositional directive forces (the road and the lines) and make the painting engage the viewer in almost every aspect of the whole without being drawn simply “Down Hill”. The geometry I see in tree lines, copses and shadows is an extension of the imposed geometry of the hill and the subsequent warnings about it. The dimensions of this piece are based on the golden rectangle.
