On the Hill

The original charcoal measures 3′ x 4′ and has patches of dripped charcoal powder in the grass as well as defining the tree. For the luminosity in the foreground grass, I used several types of erasers (hard, soft, kneaded) to achieve this effect. Also played with breaking out of the frame on the cows derrière and tail.
